Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. The butter will give your braai broodjie a nice golden brown colour.
Spread your chutney, add your cheese, tomato, onion, salt and pepper to each slice and top each sandwich off with another slice of bread with the butter on the outside.
Braai over mild coals, a few minutes before eating, regularly turn the grid until both sides of the toasty are golden brown and the cheese melted.
